Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 is fully re-architected to deliver a model based approach to managing Distributed Applications and Services. Some of its features include client monitoring through the Windows Vista and Windows XP Management Packs, audit compliant collection of security logs through Audit Collection Services (ACS), unprecedented features to aggregate and report on crash and hang data from Watson through Agentless Exception Monitoring (AEM) and tight integration with AD.

System Center Operations Manager 2007 is the third generation of Microsoft’s award-winning monitoring solution. Operations Manager 2007 builds on the success of its predecessors by adding key features and functionality that customers and the market have been demanding. Microsoft listened to users of the first two versions of Operations Manager to find out what they liked, and how they thought it could be improved.
