For mission-critical applications demanding continuous uptime, the UPS supports the connection of up to four expanded battery modules (9PXEBM48RT-L, sold separately) for hours of extended runtime.

Optional Gigabit Network Interface Offers 24/7 Remote Access

The NETWORK-M2 network card (sold individually or as a bundle) offers full remote configuration and management, including load shedding, rebooting connected devices and secure shutdowns. Through the network card, UPS firmware flash can occur without power loss, so you won't need to schedule a downtime. This card meets both UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 standards in cyber security, established to defend against known malware/exploits and help protect businesses from said risks. The optional Environmental Monitoring Probe Gen 2 (EMPDT1H1C2, sold separately) provides temperature and humidity monitoring, among other environmental features.
