EC ER Dual-Band Receiver
Wave WiFi’s EC-ER (Extended Range) Dual-Band (DB) model connects to good quality HotSpots. The EC ER Model has all the features and elements of the EC-Series that have made Wave WiFi so popular for convenience and dependability. All ER until ship with the latest firmware versions of Wave WiFi’s proprietary web-based interface.
The EC-ER DB model supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption and are Ethernet Converter (EC). Therefore, a direct connection can be made to any Ethernet enabled device resulting in flawless performance as a standalone system or integrated into the boats network.
Like all Wave WiFi devices, the EC ER DB has a Web-based friendly user interface. There is no software installation. This means better performance for plug-and-play computer accessories.
The EC ER DB comes with 25' of low loss cable that is then connected to a powerful Dual-Band Omni-Directional antenna, giving the system an incredible amount of range. The system is a more affordable midrange solution when comparing to the shorter range Rogue systems.
