Black Box RS232 Passive Splitter Rackmount Chassis - 2U, RJ45
The 2U rackmount enclosure is designed to hold 16 RS232 RJ45 passive splitters of varying port densities. These RS232 RJ45 passive Splitters are designed to permit multiple terminals to share a single modem. These passive devices are non-powered and transparent to data formats and speeds. The data from the modem is transmitted to all terminal devices. Only one terminal device may send data to the modem at a time. The Master Port is intended to be connected to a modem (DCE). All other ports are to be connected to terminals (DTE).
- For use with RS-232 RJ45 Passive Splitter Rackmount Cards (TL421-C, TL521-C, TL621-C and TL621-C)
- Does not include cards
- Enables multiple splitters to be rackmounted.
