It is capable of providing up to 9.6 Terabits per second (Tbps) capacity per slot for a total of 76.8Tbps capacity in the 8-slot chassis at 1, 10, 25, 40, 50, and 100 Gigabit Ethernet speeds. The Cisco Nexus 9500 R-Series line cards are high density 100 Gigabit and 40 Gigabit Ethernet cards with deep buffers and large table sizes. These line cards can also support 10 Gigabit Ethernet speeds using the breakout capability.
